Hi, my name is Aubree Baer. I went into the field of coaching and integration work after overcoming several years of abuse, deep grief and depression. During that time I developed a painful condition called fibromyalgia, which can develop from unprocessed psychological stress and trauma. It was either keep sinking or start swimming. With the help of somatic practices, plant medicines and doing deep work with my dedicated therapist, I began to find myself again. Embodiment and somatic practices have been monumental in my healing journey and I am excited to bring this kind of healing to the community.
In my free time I enjoy backpacking, gardening, ecstatic dancing and traveling. I have a deep love and connection with animals and feel most grounded when spending time with them or in nature.
I am professionally trained in the trauma informed, psychotherapeutic modality of Compassionate Inquiry and have experience in the fields of plant medicine, EMDR, IFS, Yoga Nidra, and grief tending. I am currently in school for the substance use disorder counselor (SUDC) and behavioral health technician (BHT) certifications, while also working towards a degree in social work.
As I continue to do my own work, I am incredibly excited to be in a place where I can offer support and sanctuary for others to do theirs as well.
Although sessions will feel therapeutic, please be aware that I am not a licensed therapist. I am a coach, a guide, a friend and hugs are welcome here.
